The Bible
tells us that God has equipped the body of Christ with a variety of gifts and talents in order for the church to be more effective
in helping others find and follow Christ. The Bible shows many examples of how he uses ordinary people to accomplish
his work of love and grace in this world. We wants his believers to be more than consumers. He wants us to give
of ourselves in service to others.
Are you a consumer or a servant?
Do you participate in
ministry? Are you part of a ministry team? Do you volunteer? Do you view yourself as a missionary? Are you aware
of your ministry giftings and passions?
To help you discover ways to serve others we encourage you to join a full-time
or part-time ministry activity. Whether serving within the walls of the church or serving outside the walls of the church,
God has a plan for you and wants every believer to find his or her place in ministering to others. Here are some of our ministry
needs at DEC.
1. Worship Team
We are currently in need of more musicians (piano,
bass, guitar) and singers. If you want to be used in this area, please contact the Pastor and joing our worship team
today!
2. Projection ministry
We need volunteers
to join our video and power point projection team.
3. Sound system
We need sound
system operators to help us during our Sunday morning services.
